Tunefork Studios has a been a major launching pad for some of the most prominent local and regional talents. We have worked on 200+ albums, from contemporary and classical oriental to indie rock, electronic, experimental, jazz, pop and everything in between.

OUR philosophy

In addition to high quality recording, production and mixing, we offer a personalized approach to each project. We believe in a collaborative approach, and we work together with the artist to help them reach their sonic identity.

We believe in the constant need to learn and evolve within our community, through collaborative works, wokrshops and knowledge-sharing.

We have always supported local acts and upcoming bands, partnering with Radio Liban for their competition in 2006 (won by Mashrou’ Leila) and Beirut Open Stage’s competitions from 2013-2016 where Postcards, Mayssa Jallad, Alko B and many more acts got their start. Winners would get to record their first-ever song at the studio.

We are proud of our collaboration with Ruptured and Ziad Nawfal over the years: from helping manage the label to recording the live in-studio sessions for their show on Radio Liban, which produced the 6 ‘Ruptured Sessions’ albums featuring the underground scene’s most prominent acts between 2006 and 2013.

ADAPTING TO THE NEW NORMAL

Like many other cultural institutions in Lebanon, we had to adapt following the October 2019 uprising, the economic crisis, pandemic and the devastating August 4 explosion. This strengthened our core belief in our community. We launched the Beirut Musicians’ Fund to help cover the costs of instruments and sound gear damaged in the port explosion. Between 2020 and 2023, we also offered a pay as you want option for non-funded Lebanon-based artists and musicians.
